Orlando Pedrazzoli — Full Stack Developer
Fifteen years building businesses. Now, software.
I was born in São Paulo in 1981 and have lived in Portugal since 2017. I spent most of my adult life building companies — manufacturing product, negotiating with suppliers, hiring, selling, closing — before transitioning to software in 2023.
That changes how I write code. When a client describes a problem, I can see the operation behind it: who does what, where time is lost, what happens when someone makes a mistake. The code comes after that, and is better because of it.
Today I split my time between Pedrazzoli Digital, where I build products for clients in Portugal and Brazil, and Accenture Portugal, where I work as a Content Operations Analyst.
Background
- 2002 – 2017
Surf accessories companies, Brazil
Founded ISC at 21 with the South American license of an Australian brand, sold it in 2006 and was recruited to run production at Brazil's largest manufacturer in the sector. In 2010 I founded Elite Surfing, which grew to 16 employees and a national distributor network; sublicensed in 2014, it is still active. This is where I learned product, production, sales and what hurts in an operation.
elitesurfing.com.br - 2017 – 2021
Go Portugal Tours, Lisbon
Moved to Portugal and founded a private tours and transfers company. Bookings, logistics, international clients. Closed during the pandemic. The booking site that exists today came out of that experience.
